Tui Superstrike Shady Places Lawn Seed creates a fast establishing but slow growing lawn in shady spots - such as under trees. Our Shady Places blend of turf fescues creates a lawn that will thrive in less sunlight and require less mowing.

All Tui Superstrike Turf lawn seed varieties feature a unique treatment which encourages fast establishment of lawn seed, so you can see results in as little as seven days. This industry leading treatment also protects the seed from common fungal diseases during establishment and reduces bird theft. It includes an additive which effectively binds the treatment to the seed, minimising dust.

Wear protective clothing when applying lawn seed and wash hands when completed.

1. Rake area to be sown to remove debris.
2. Apply Tui Lawn Preparation Mix to a max depth of 50mm.
3. Sow seed evenly at a rate of 25g per square metre.
4. Water after sowing seed and keep moist until germination.
5. Water regularly and deeply to establish a healthy lawn.
6. A new lawn will be ready to mow when it has reached a height of 5cm and the root system has established.
